The Windmill suffered storm damage on Thursday 18th January
Although the stock is broken and the sail damaged there is little
other damage to the mill as far as we know at the moment.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We have had a number of donations from individuals and groups in support
of the windmill following the storm damage. The Friends and the Trust greatly
appreciate the concern and interest shown by all these people.
This is in the tradition of Upminster people who in 1890 subscribed £200
to help Mr Abraham repair the mill after similar storm damage.
Thank you all,
Bob Sharp
